  • On June 28, 2018 Ana Maria Archila Gualy, from the Center For Popular Democracy, and Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory, from The Women's March, lead more than one thousand women from all over the US on a march from the Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC, to Capitol Hill for a peaceful protest and sit-in at The Hart Senate Office Building over the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" immigration policy which called for separating children from their parents. At least 575 women were arrested.
